Privacy Policy
A plain-language explanation of what The Mental Load Creative Studio collects, why we collect it, and the choices you have.
The short version
We use your information only to send updates you requested, complete your purchase, deliver your receipt, and provide customer support. We do not sell or rent your personal information.
01
Information we collect
When you respond to one of our ads, join our updates, contact us, or purchase a guide, we may receive:
- Your name and email address.
- The information you choose to include in a message or form.
- Purchase details such as the product, transaction date, amount, and receipt or order information.
Payments are processed by the checkout provider. We do not receive or store your complete payment-card number.
02
How we use your information
We use the information described above to:
- Send news, writing, guide releases, and project updates when you have asked to receive them.
- Process or confirm your purchase and ensure you receive a receipt and access to the product.
- Answer questions and provide customer support.
- Prevent fraud, protect our services, and comply with legal obligations.
A purchase receipt or other transaction-related message is not treated as permission to send unrelated marketing. We send promotional updates only when you have opted in or where otherwise permitted by law.
03
When information is shared
We share information only with service providers that help us operate, such as the advertising platform that collects your form response, an email service used to deliver requested updates, and the checkout provider used to process purchases and receipts.
These providers process information under their own terms and privacy practices. We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect rights or safety, or as part of a business transfer. We do not sell or rent your personal information.
04
Your choices
- Unsubscribe: Use the unsubscribe link in any promotional email or contact us. Transactional messages, such as receipts, may still be sent when necessary.
- Access, correct, or delete: You may ask what personal information we hold, request a correction, or ask us to delete it, subject to legal recordkeeping requirements.
- Withdraw consent: You may change your mind about receiving updates at any time.
We will verify requests when reasonably necessary and respond within the time required by applicable law.
05
Retention, security, and children
We retain contact information while you remain subscribed and keep transaction records for as long as reasonably necessary for receipts, support, tax, accounting, fraud prevention, and legal obligations. When information is no longer needed, we delete or de-identify it where practical.
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, but no online system can be guaranteed completely secure. Our ads, guides, and forms are intended for adults and are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
06
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as our projects or privacy practices change. The effective date at the top of this page will show when the latest version took effect. Material changes will be communicated when required.
